Hello,

Bit weird me asking on this site, but because i spend so much time on it, i thought id ask here,

Thinking of getting a top quality steam cleaner, iv always had cheap ones in the past that seem to stop working or lose power over the time.
Once i tried making my own out of a kettle, using a cover and a hose on the top, Pretty crap tho.

Now i want to spend a bit and just stop using chemicals at all so i can clean my carpet, floors ..ect

Anyone know of a top quality brand or model that works really well? only decent ones i can find are like karcher for just under $1000 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/KARCHER-DE4002-PROFESSIONAL-STEAM-CLEANER-NEXT-DAY-/120785837634?pt=UK_HomeGarden_CLV_Cleaning_CA&hash=item1c1f659e42#ht_3613wt_836
, i want something that can just blast steam out if i want it to, somthing i could almost steam cook something

They are great for cleaning certain ebikes parts without getting your hands to dirty.

Here in NA our household uses this one:

1 gallon or more capacity is important which the one you linked has. Anything less and you'll run out of steam unless you crank the pressure way down. Hot water rinse is a nice feature but goes through the tank of water much faster, of course.

We really love cleaning with steam. It's so many fewer chemicals and steam makes a pretty good solvent for grease and oil. Appliances never looked so good and you can clean jewelry, freshening up clothes, cleaning car parts, etc. The uses are literally endless and at the end of the day it's just water.

Generally my girlfriend does more of the cleaning haha
but still, looking at our fortnightly shopping docket, we average a fair bit on cleaning products, up to $80
bleach, pine disinfectant, spray for bench, oven cleaner, carpet cleaner, floor cleaner, im sure there is more

It'll significantly reduce your chemical bill. We still use that stuff but in much, much smaller quantities since the steam seems to intensify whatever cleaner you use it with.

We've been using 'em for over 5 years and no regrets!
