Hello, a little over a year ago I bought a Telefunken e-bike which has been my main means of transport since then. However, for the past few months, every time I plug in the DC barrel of the charger, there is a sort of spark and I have found burn marks on the charger's barrel. So, I bought another charger on Amazon (I carefully checked that it had the same specifications as the other charger) and since then the problem has worsened. Out of curiosity, I checked the inside of the socket where the charger is inserted (I should mention that I have cleaned it since taking the photo) and I noticed a burn mark inside. I thought it was probably just a stain or something like that, so I decided to remove the battery and clean it. My bike is foldable and the battery is removed by folding it. I folded the bike, removed the battery, and accidentally the metal part of the battery touched the pin that connects the battery to the motor at the back, causing a huge spark that also left a small burn mark on the battery which I managed to remove. I was convinced it was dead, but I still decided to clean it. As soon as I put it back together, everything works fine again, the bike runs and the battery shows no signs of deterioration, but the burn mark is still inside the pin. The Telefunken manual states that the battery is, I quote, "latest generation" and that it has all the safety measures. What do you think I should do?
