Oh my god, its President Trump!

Millions do cross the border to vote. People who live in Mexico, and for the most part, always will.

Their mom crossed to get them born in the USA. This came in very handy when Juarez was not safe to live in. They just made the move to El Paso more permanent. Grandma, alas, had to stay in Juarez and take her chances.

But they aren't illegal. They are US born citizens. No surprise they did not vote for Trump in El Paso. Notice I said nothing about they are not criminals? Plenty of them commuted daily for their job, as hit men! Very handy to cross back with your US passport after shooting a dozen people.

Nothing is cut and dried here on the border. New Yorkers have no clue at all how it is here. How do you wall out US citizens who are hit men, but only kill in Mexico? Where is the line? Is there a line really?

The wall will employ a lot of people. 8)

We had the situation here in California of the born in the U.S.A. Mexican hitmen who were coming up to kill people and going home, they were called the 'Sinaloa Cowboys.' So what does Bruce Springsteen do? He uses the title for a song that supposed to make them good guys.

Gotta love the pure hispanic voice shouting "If you don't like it, you go home to Mexico." The white woman calling the minorities racists, on the other hand. . . .

And you believe it why? Because the Blog Queen said it?

So tell me, who took my family land? It was first bought by ancestors I guess after the Civil War, which he was a veteran of. During WWII the government made use of land in the area, I'm not sure it was actually the family land that was contaminated but the County was told that there was no way to build a water reservoir there. But they got ugly, I don't get into it but the kind of things you fear them using their office to do. That included imminent domain for pennies on the dollar for the value of the land. Once they had it, they announce, in feined shock, "It turns out this land is CONTAMINATED, we can't build a water reservoir here. There's only one thing we can do. . . ."

No, that was NOT sell it back to the proper owners for the price they stole it for. It was sell it to a big corporation at a huge profit so they'll come in and pay taxes and the county gets all these spendies out of it. Tell me, are you really dumb enough to blame the corporation that came along and bought it? Or do you have the sense to leave them out of it and blame the county government?

You gotta grow up and see the world as it is sometime.

These are funny because everyone keeps underestimating the Trump. Even I underestimated him, yet this guy has proven one thing he is in it to win.

He isn't your typical politician like "Hillary" who is really all talk and everyone knows she will do nothing. Trump means business.

He surely has not run for president because he is a career politican, he is the first President that has never set foot in public office before. He is truly independent unlike anyone before him.

The best part is he is not running to make him more rich, unlike "Hilliary Clinton", he is actually losing a lot of money by running. He is doing this because he really wants change in the Government.

He is not going to sit by like a Obama, or Hillary Clinton would have, and not make the changes he promised. He is going to do everything possible to make change, of course he will have the democrats trying to stop him every step of the way, but he is surely going to do everything he said and more.

Don't underestimate Trump, he isn't your typical politician like, Bush, Obama, Clinton. Just wait and see what he will do, he will make more of those pundits you are reading from your biased news sources seem like fools.

Just look at his cabinet picks, he is picking all people who are very active and wanting change.

Yep, definitely not your typical "Let's keep everything dysfunctional" status quo president. This guy wants /real/ change.

The only thing I've somewhat worried about on his Economic sides is putting a tarriff on oil. If he does put a tariff on it, it should be pretty darn small, because oil isn't just /any/ commodity. It's THE commodity that /drives/ the economy. It's the commodity that powers the machinery that mines/extracts/produces/harvests/etc. almost all the other standard commodities. It goes up, almost nothing gets spared in the economy. Additionally, it's a finite resource so it's a good idea to let everyone else run out of theirs first before extracting your own. In a time of world war, you can't necessarily reasonably expect your traditional oil supply lines won't get disrupted, so it's good idea to keep some available at home.

Or looking at it another way: he has no experience of politics, diplomacy, economics, leadership, global affairs or many other things that make a good head of state.

The best part is he is not running to make him more rich, unlike "Hilliary Clinton", he is actually losing a lot of money by running. He is doing this because he really wants change in the Government.

Or fame, power, or privilege. The majority of rich businessmen seem to be driven by personal ambition.

Disagree. That he has promised so much means he will probably have to backtrack further than most. Many of his promises were ostentatious, highly impractical, ruinously expensive or plain impossible. Also, the U.S. president doesn't get to do whatever they want like some absolute dictator. They're ham-strung by the inertia of the status quo and the machinations of the rest of the political system. Oh, and hopefully a huge sense of responsibility. Obama wanted to close Guantanamo Bay - no chance!

Cherry-picking a topic highly relevant to this forum, he claimed climate change is a Chinese Conspiracy, that he will reinstate the U.S. coal industry and withdraw from the Paris Climate Treaty (and abolish the EPA). It's like the U.S. finally got behind doing something about CO2 emissions, enabling the prospect of a start to meaningful global action to start addressing it, and now it's going to be two steps backward.

Illiteracy and/or reading comprehension are at an all time high if you folks think he'll be up to something good.
I can't wait for his announcement of "Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda" or whatever it will be called.

Well, he COULD continue the Obama program of having propagandists in all the government offices, but most definitely in the State Department, when he ended the ban on domestic propaganda. Obama calls the White House propaganda arm the White House Office of Public Engagement. Paulette Aniskoff is or was if she's not there anymore a real live White House official as well as a propagandist in the Goebbels' tradition. If Trump was to decide to do propaganda, he'd need to look no farther than the example Obama has set on propaganda.

All very hopeful, I'd love to see it happen. But if he could just be better than Obama, Dubya, better than Hillary would have been, he's already done much for us by interrupting the dirtbag as usual pipeline the parties were so intent on maintaining.

Oh, and by keeping the antiTrump people making a mockery of themselves for our entertainment.

Donald Trump’s media summit was a ‘f—ing firing squad’

Donald Trump scolded media big shots during an off-the-record Trump Tower sitdown on Monday, sources told The Post.

“It was like a f–ing firing squad,” one source said of the encounter.

“Trump started with [CNN chief] Jeff Zucker and said ‘I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed,’ ” the source said.

“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing down,” the source added.

The hour-long session included top execs from network and cable news channels. Among the attendees were NBC’s Deborah Turness, Lester Holt and Chuck Todd, ABC’s James Goldston, George Stephanopoulos, David Muir and Martha Raddatz,

Also, CBS’ Norah O’Donnell John Dickerson, Charlie Rose, Christopher Isham and King, Fox News’ Bill Shine, Jack Abernethy, Jay Wallace, Suzanne Scott, MSNBC’s Phil Griffin and CNN’s Jeff Zucker and Erin Burnett.

Yeah, the Hitler Youth were not afraid to tell the cameras " . . . .Someone will take him out for us." And oh so happy as they said it. Those Hitler Youth are so impetuous. What about you? Are YOU a Hitler Youth? Where's the video of YOUR flagburning?

The US political system is corrupt to the core just like most other large countries. It's all about money.

Maybe Canada is not so bad, eh?
CANADIAN LESSONS! Are you American and moving to Canada?

Trump was elected president.
We're sorry.

After the election, the Canadian immigration website crashed.

If you're one of the many Americans planning to convert to Canadianism, I can help you get integrated quickly and smoothly by offering my tutoring services to help you become one of us.

I've got approx. 23+ years of experience and charge $30/hour (Canadian dollars. First lesson: One CAD = 0.75 USD) so basically, that's a steal!

Here are a few of the chapters you'll be learning:

* Situations which warrant a "sorry", and the 2 ways we pronounce it.
* The importance of Tim Horton's (Timmy's), a double double, and tim bits.
* The difference between regular syrup and 100% pure maple syrup.
* The loonie, toonie and do our bills smell like maple syrup?
* Intro to Celsius, Kilometres, Provinces, etc.
* Canadian spelling (colour, neighbour, centre) and slang.
* Pop, not soda.
* The beaver, moose, the Canadian goose.
* Milk and why it comes in bags.
* Holding the door open even if you're not yet sure if someone if behind you.
* Hockey.
* Surviving a Canadian winter.
* Why we don't have guns, and don't need them.
* Canada's history: not as nice as you think.
* Justin Trudeau - the leader you wish you had.
* The North American house hippo.
* French basics.
* Poutine.
* This commercial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRI-A3vakVg
* "Eh."

And much more.

Thank you for reading, and serious inquiries only please.

Sincerely,
A Canadian.

Is there something you call Canadians that's like calling the French 'Frogs' or the British 'Limeys?' Ive heard 'Canucklehead,' but they're not all Canucks, right?

But what will we do if he does what he promises?

I think it's too late to change. We must wait and see what he pulls off. If he makes America better, that's great. As long as it isn't at the middle classes cost. Like raising taxes to the middle and lower class and lowering the upper. I hope he does the opposite but do you think he would want to raise his taxes?

Dan

ps: I just hope he can pull off what he said in his speech. If he does he will be the first.

Nah nah, they're saying they don't want him doing good things.

You know what? If you don't want to benefit from Trump's presidency, you don't have to. If your street gets safer, you can resist by finding the biggest, the meanest illegal alien you can find and offering yourself as a victim. If your job is too stable, you can protest by demanding to be laid off. And if his tax cut saves you money, never accept the the refund, you just pay MORE like Obama always wanted you to.

America may well wind up better, but it doesn't have to be better for YOU, ya know.
