parallel high c rate with low c rate battery

hello,

if i have let say a 48v40ah battery that can pull 2C max, which is about 4kw. but i need to be able to pull 8kw power or even 12kw.

can i parallel with the pack 48v4ah of nanotech for acceleration burst at 8 or 12kw? what would happen if i do that and anyone tried?

You can, but you'll have to stop your discharge before the other chemistry cells are totally empty. You'll stop when the nano's and the other combined are at 3.5v resting, or whatever point you choose.

To pull that much power, I'd recommend building your nano pack big enough to carry the entire load easily. Then the rest is just added range.
