It is amazing what a little forced air will do. If you need any DC-DC power for your blower I have a huge stash of old laptop bricks etc. Some of them can put out some really efficient power in a tiny package. You should take some next time you come over - but they are already deep in the woods of Santa Cruz so you will have to come there instead.
I have found that the tiniest little things can greatly reduce high speed prop noise. Even just a mm here and a mm there. Used to go through hell trying to quiet down pusher prop RC planes (so as not to piss off the neighbors and golfers so much). I bet we can make that totally tolerable.
If not we can just make it louder
