pedals and bearing play

I have WELLGO F265 Pedals (at least that is how they look comparing pictures on the WELLGO website since there is no type indication on my pedals, they are completely of metal) on my ebike and after 2 weeks the lift pedal starts to make a clicking sound during pedaling, very irritating and distracting. If I compare the left pedal with the right pedal it seems that the left pedel has a little more play on the bearing. Is there a way to tighten the bearing very slightly, enough to remove the clicking sound and how to do it ? I can not see any way to put an Allen key or any other key (even if i remove the rubbery dirt protection cap from the axis it seems there is no way to insert any type of key.). Anyone have suggestions? I will put some pictures of the type of pedal I am talking about.

When you remove that plug, there should be a nut. If there isn't a nut, then they may have been built as press fit. if that's the case, looseness means they are trashed. but not just gone bad, but gone bad and about to fall off. Having a pedal fall off when you're standing on it trying to cross busy traffic at night. That's what happened to my folding pedal.

If this is on a folding bike, you might try Quick release pedals. I got an amazon set for like $25 and have been happy with them. slightly longer to set up than quick folds, but stronger and more stable by a huge margin, and the bike folds up smaller now. And they just feel better under foot.

Thanks for you reaction. Yes I think you are right that they are "press fit" but trashed after 2 weeks ia fast. Today when searching for info about how to service these pedals I cam accross these quick release pedals you mentioned and it is indeed maybe a good alternative. Will have a look into it more.
