Hello, I'm a long time lurker, 1st time poster. I have two 72v sensorless crystalyle controllers. One is compatible with a Crystalyle APM display, the other with a Cycle Analyst. The controller that is compatable with the cycle analyst makes the wheel run in reverse so I want to reverse the phase wires to the motor. There are three of course. A yellow, a blue, and a green wire. Are the positive and negative wires the blue and green wires? Thanks in advance

Very very easy to fix, take any two phases and swap their colours, so instead of say BB GG YY you'd have BG GB YY. There's no "polarity" to this in the traditional DC sense, it's 3 phase AC. but ya thats the fix. Might want to invest in a sensored controller at some point, get that off-the-line torque!

Thanks for the quick response. My ebikes are commuter bikes that I ride daily to work so the simpler the better. I read too many posts about hall sensors burning out, failing etc... so maybe when I retire and have time to mess with them.

Meh, all those crappy chinese scooters they sell in stores use sensor-only, but i see your point. To protect my sensors from water I cover em in sensor-safe gasket silicone along with putting in new phases.

Ok just switched phase wire colors and all is well. Will post pics of new bikes when I finish pimping them out. (Teaser: One of the bikes is made out of the carcass of a prodeco phantom x I got off craigslist.)
