Either this guy just lies through his teeth, or he is lacking even a childs engineering sense to compare the shape with a dome/arch. Domes and arches are extremely strong when the end points are fixed, and the force comes from the outside of the arc. They are extremely weak, perhaps truely the weakest possible design for the way it's loaded as a bike frame.

It's also funny in another video where he says that your Pi bike investment will be an heirloom that will last 50years of use and will always perform for generations. This is funny, because when it showed it battery pack, it looked like small bunch of spot welded cylinder type cells rather than a magical 50 year life cycle energy storage system. lol
