Very interesting frame.

Edit: I guessed wrong.

Schwinn Spoiler?

Yes it is a spoiler. It use to have a wilderness bd36. Then I read from you wonderful people that I could overvolt it to 48v. Now I was having fun. But I didnt enjoy it alone, my 3 year old daughter sat on a pillow in the front. I got that fixed with a rear seat, so now I have an electric 2 seater spoiler. Not before long that wasnt enough either. Now it is all apart geting a makeover, some black powder coat, a 5303 with disk brake, 6 sla's in battery box, and right now I am painting the rims black t90 dupicolor. More to come.....

The battery box is a pretty tight squeze. This is the configuration I think fits the best. Battery charger is a little big and I had to take the top half of the cover off. Key switch is on the bottom, a couple toggle switches on top and wires coming out the front. Still havent drilled the hole for the charger cord or charger fan. Controller and charger can also be switched, The box and other parts missing from the bike are powdercoated black.

Bike is back together, and I took it for a few rides. Top flat speed was 42 mph, but cant wait to upgrade the batteries allready. Sla's just dont have enough amps, and the weight, OMG its like a motorcyle. Front suspension is a must for pot holes and bumps. My daughter loved it, we went on a family E-bike ride to lunch.

nice whip
now i'd have a nice S&S twin airbrushed on the sides

I'm really digging that box.... Much better than what I had planned for my Spoiler - which was just going to be a basic aluminum box (no form-fitting curves like yours). What's the internal width of it? Any chance I could talk you into making one for me for a reasonable price? Drop me a PM if you are interested!

The box was built buy a few people, none of them was me. I will check on a price for you thow. The inside measures 4 3/8 inches. The box is almost as wide as possable. The cranks on the left side have an 1/2 inch clearance from the box. They did a fabulos job on the box. I dont think I could have been any happyer with it. :D

Definately, please check with them! I can do the sides myself - I've got the materials and tools to do at least that much. I've also got some thin sheets of red & black carbon fiber with an adhesive back on the way which I can slap on a thin sheet of aluminum. I think that would look pretty sharp with the red and black paint scheme of the bike.
