It's not mentioned on Wikipedia and the time period on wikipedia doesn't seem to fit what's claimed in the video, so I'm guessing it's apocryphal. It might be another member of the porsche family, though - I haven't checked in detail.

Apparently I was looking at the company's wikipedia page; it appears the founder's personal page has all the details at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferdinand_Porsche#Early_years . Even includes an original picture.
