Hi,

I have the Ananda M145
813957-Ananda-Motor-36V-250W-Nabenmotor-Heckmotor-Radnabenmotor-Zuendapp-Z808---Z810---Z898-4P2A6324.jpg

Internal pictures in this thread. Hall sensor issue, after switch

It seems to have M12x1-6g

Some specs

I want to connect a kid trailer.

I found this adapter:

Can I change the current thru axle to that one? Likely not in an easy way?

I have been glancing on solutions like this instead

But for some reason only for M10 and such.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Through axles are not compatible with hub motors (except Grin All Axle). They are for a different style of bike frame that doesn't have normal dropouts.

To attach a kid trailer, you'll need a hitch that fits on your existing motor axle. Probably that's just a matter of drilling the 10mm hole in the hitch to 12mm so it can fit over the axle between the bike frame and the axle nut.

A few trailers attach to the seat post of the tow bike. Those don't interact with the axle at all.

I use a hitch that clamps to the chain stay. Looks like this

Is possible to swap out the axle mount hitch with a chain stay clamp hitch too if you already have the trailer.

Thanks, good pointers. I will try to use the "official" adapter of the brand and drill it to 12 mm as a first step.

Fits after drilling, but the adapter is a bit too thick, i.e. there is too little screw left for the nut to fasten tight.

The nut does not fit well enough in the inner space though, will see if I can find another nut or file it down to fit better.
