My new bike does a really good burnout with how much weight is on the rear tire. I never recorded anything yet, but its on its 3rd tire in 50 miles...

Here's a weak little 6kW Golden heater.

Same setup, different bike and tire.

These were done on the sidewall since the center tends to be rather warn from rolling heaters.

I'm getting tempted to throw a worn out tire on the back of deathbike and do a proper fire burnout until it explodes. :)

A couple weeks or so ago, I kinda tried to do a burnout with CrazyBike2 and the 200A controller Methods sent, but I blew up the controller before I could get the wheel to spin (I dunno the watts, but that's like 50-something Volts with sag, at I think 180A+...is that really over 9KW?) even on the dirt in my front yard. :( Between the weight on the back wheel (IIRC about 140lbs-ish of bike, and same of me, with rest on the front wheel, maybe 30-40lbs at most), and the fattish knobby Maxxis tire, I just couldn't make it lose grip before I popped a FET.

I used to get burnouts on the *front* wheel easily when I had the same motor up there, evne with only 40A, but I never tried a video of that.

Maybe after I change the tire to some semi-slicks Ohzee sent me I will be able to do it even with the 80A it's detuned down to now, plus the 2s I added to the 14s pack. :) Might have to push hard with my feet on the ground to lift it enough to get the traction loose enough for burnout. THen again, maybe the little 9C 2807 can't really push that hard....

I"m sure I can get one of the much lighter Fusin 1000W-peak geared hub on the test bike, but probably only on dirt, not pavement, and probably only if I push with my feet to lift it. ;)

Id love to see it go mental on a massive grass oval no traction for 60 seconds lol but it gets just way to messy.

I assumed I had an old tube laying around, but couldn't find it. Didn't want to pop my new slimed DH tube, so I just spent the remainder of the sidewall on this tire. With how heavy this motor is, the tread just falls off the tire. I used to be able to do heaters for a few minutes on my old setup, now its more like a few seconds before its belted badly. But hey, it smokes more.
