I thought this would make a great off the grid generator, I might have to try my hand a t building one of these.

Here's a couple I'm impressed with. A 2.5-HP called Jim Dandy #6, a twin Gamma with a single double-acting power cylinder:

And here's a 3-cylinder Gamma that has 2 displacers per power cylinder because he made the displacer cylinders out of stainless-steel water bottles. Here's the youtube of the engine running for a few seconds.
