Potentially damaged QS205 motor - opened it, what to look for?

Follow up to my post the other day QS205 metallic noise between 66-69kph freewheeling.

Ok so I opened up the motor - pulled both side covers.
No signs of severe heat damage - no burnt or discolored wires/coils
- both bearings spin smooth, very little play, well greased. No noise.
- Inspected magnets: pried a little on each magnet with a pointy pick - all glued in tight. No scrapes on magnets, no breaks/cracks, no signs of any foreign object scraping on stator or magnets.
- covers flat, no signs of warping.
Pulled brake side cover: found a tiny bit of corrosion or burn marks on the blue wire cluster where they all combine to exit the motor but I cannot see that being a problem, as all those wires connect together anyways.
- resistance: apprx 2.5 ohms between each of 3 phase connectors - all about the same
- since motor seems to pull with full strength - can only assume no shorts.

Did I miss anything else that should be checked?

Im stumped. maybe the noise is just a perfectly normal resonance of some sort and the problem is elsewhere...

A lot of hub motors have a resonance at certain speeds. Could be the case here. Do you get the sound at higher speeds?

It could be a loose wheel spoke.

Have you tried it with the brake caliper removed?

There can be resonance in the spokes too. Not damaging, but can be annoying. You can try wrapping tape or zip ties around where the spokes cross and see if it changes.
