I mean most anything is easier than Nylon, personally I find ABS easier than PETG but that's probably because all my printers have enclosures. If you print ABS/ASA in a chamber that is warm enough it pretty much just prints great. It's very forgiving of print temps, less moisture sensitive than PETG, less stringy and oozy, takes cooling well, bed adhesion is good on many surfaces and is incredibly forgiving of print speed. My PETG issues were all after printing so much ABS and trying to print it too fast, ABS you can just crank the temp and push the speeds and it just goes.Thinking about ASA next. Anyone print with ASA? Or am I getting into another fiasco?
The Polymaker ABS/ASA I quite like, it's a little less glossy than other brands, might also be a little less warp prone in cooler chambers from some of the behavior I've noticed. The polymaker ASA-CF also just looks so nice, some real nice color options. I also like the Push ABS-CF, the texture is finer than most carbon filaments so has a very nice finish, probably because they use milled carbon so it's more of a filler than changing the properties. If you just want cheap the GEEEEEEEEEEtech ABS you can get for $8 a KG in bulk and honeslty it prints like 95% as good as good premium ABS and better than some premium ABS.
