Programmable ESC Braking Settings

So the really expensive ESCs have several braking settings, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with different settings.

What about other custom ESC settings? How much programmability does one need? THX

Most ESC's allow the option to control braking by 10% increments. The higher the number the harder the brake. Actual braking power depends on the motor used and how fast you are going at the time of braking.

Unless, you get a tested kit and know the braking is perfect for a particular build. It's best to test the brakes that way they stop you how you want it to stop.
