Update: I got the throttle working by using the PC software from mqcon. FYI, I found out if you plug in the bluetooth dongle after using the software, any settings not available in the phone app will revert back. So if you set up your brake throttle and then plug in the dongle, it will change it back to a brake switch. In other words, the dongle becomes completely useless if you plan on using any advanced settings.

What I still need to know is how many amps is safe for ebraking. 50 amps was default, and I've got it dialed up to 150 amps and it's not much braking power at all.

I'm trying to set up my freshly installed ebrake throttle, and I'm assuming that my controller is set up for a switch? And further assuming I will have to use the actual software via programming cable to change that to the throttle?

Assuming those assumptions are indeed correct, are there any tutorials on using the software? I've only used the app with the bluetooth dongle.

Also, does anyone know where to download the software from? I have an SVMC 72150 from QS Motors. I believe MQCON was the manufacturer, but I'm not 100% sure.

PS, the e-brake doesn't seem to be giving me any detectable braking whatsoever. It was set at 50 amps by default, and I raised it to 100 and still no detectable braking at all. Am I just not running enough amps, or is it just not working for some reason? When I squeeze the brakes, the app recognizes it and says it's in e-brake mode, so that all seems to be working.
