hi im hopeing some one out there can help this e bike novice.

short story : got a cystalyte 404 motor about 2 years ago but never got round to use it. about a month ago founD it out and fitted it to my bike . got a speed controler of the internet 60v 80amp controller. my batteries gave me 60v 20 amps ( using 36v20 lifepo , and 4 12v 12amp sla batteries)
put it all together and loads of power but it pulses 3 seconds on 6 seconds off constantly ??????????
i tested my conections to make sure no breaks any where on my wireing . so the took hub apart and found fair bit of corrosion and moisture . must have been damp in garage. cleaned it up got rid of rust. put back on bike but still hapening. can some1 please point me in the right dirrection to solving this .
REALLY APPRICIATE IT

Looks like big controller on a small battery. The controllers LVC may be shutting down because the controller is beating the dog doo doo out of your battery. Battery voltage drops and the controller shuts it off. When the current is shut off, the battery recovers, and the controller turns back on. You see similar things happen when riding on a nearly dead battery.

Try a 20 amp controller.

Or buy batteries able to put out 60 amps continuously, like lipo from Hobby King.

cheers for that ill try that and see if it resolves the problem. think iv managed to get one to try .
kind regards paul
