Anyone mounted a QS style motor. In place of the power head in smaller outboards?

I have a 1995 Chris Craft Zephyr 14’ Runabout replica.
I have two 18hp antique Johnson outboards.
one runs and restored, One has internal issues.

I‘m not looking for performance mainly to use 48v golf cart lithium set up.
either a 8kw or 16kw.
this is purely for fun and would like to have 1-2hrs of runtime.

I may consider converting another toy boat.
I have 1978 Peterborough Rogue 14’
with a 1978 Johnson 25hp. Same idea. Mount a Small QS style motor. In place of the powerhead.
roughly 8-10kw

I have no personal experience with this, but Justin has done work using one of his motors in his sailboat. He writes about it on the company web site, and possibly in these forums. Marine Kit

A glancing memory from the past is of the "Seagull" outboard for moving sailboats. The detail is that the propeller chosen provided great coupling to the water and so even though the rpm was slow, it would push large loads. This might be something to explore about speed of motor/reduction vs propeller chosen.
