Quetion for extperts about LIFEBATT Packs and BMS

I am thinking of joining the group buy for the LIFEBATTS and was thinking of purchasing 5 - 12Volt / 30AH packs for my EMAX scooter and putting them in series for a total of 60Volts / 30AH. My question is, will this work and will the BMS for each of the individual packs work when the packs are discharging and charging ??? Please let me know what you think. God Bless

I don't think anyone on the boards yet has a HPS lifebatt pack (mine uses a custom BMS), but I believe this is precicely what they have been designed to do.

Yes, should work fine and we can also provide a LVC switch with the HPS Packs now. I would ask that you write to our engineer directly and confirm with him your specs. on the motor and controller. Contact benja@lifebatt.com and I am sure we can work out a system that will satisfy your requirements.
