Quick Cycle Analyst Question

I noticed my CA has (2) cords.. I assume 1 for data from the Controller (Lyen 18fet), 1 for power.. correct?
The one for power is about 4 inches long.. what gives? Should there be another cable that comes w/ the CA to run power, or is it up to me to wire it in and connect power to that standard circular power connector (unsure of the connector name)?
Probably a dumb question - I'm getting close to getting this puppy running so I want to clear this up.

The extra cord (looks like a laptop/printer power supply connector or similar) was intended to be a power out tap for running handlebar accessories, it is fed by the 6 pin connecter coming out of the controller, you don't have to run power to it all it needs is the 6-pin connector.
