I purchased an older specialized turbo (2013) with a hub motor.
The battery didn`t work, so I opened the battery for replacing the cells but I figured out the problem is more than the Cell output voltage (because the cells had enough Voltage).

First of all, there is a button battery around the BMS. Also, there are some cables that are being connected to the output of the battery.
I saw a German guy on another forum bypassing the Battery with Goswissdrive Display and it seems to work if you don`t want to use an original Battery with the "specialized" internals...

Did anyone else try to bypass the original Specialized Battery ?

If you replace the controller, you will have simpler wiring and can use any battery that you want. Choose a controller that is programmable and has its own matching display. The proprietary systems are always governed in the controller software, thus it is what you need to bypass ideally, unless you have the competence to do the required mods.

What is the state of charge of your battery check each parallel group starting at the negative in as one and go to the positive in probably is 10. So 1-10.
then write them down like this on a peice of paper.
1. 3.85v
2. 3.99v
3. 4.51v

10. Xxx volt
Check the voltage of your charger
xxx volt here.
Good starting point
