Just found a NJ location for Lithium-ion scrap recycling.

Old Lithium-ion worth $2.50 per pound.

1st I've seen an actual, and generous, price offered for Lithium-ion scrap.
SLA batteries at $0.22 lb locally.

That's an awesome price, not much less that I'm purchased nearly new used and perfectly good lithium batteries. Hopefully that kind of recycling price makes its way down here.

The unfortunate side effect is scumbags will be stealing bike batteries just for the recycle money

Have, probably, 100+ pounds stashed around, but is it worth $250 ... if it means I have to visit New Jersey?
