Does anyone remember the reel mower bicycle build that was done a few years ago? I have done a bit of searching on ES, but can't find any mention of it. It was something like this:

I just had a friend mention that he wanted to build this. I remember something about some issues that the builder had, and some solutions that were done, so I wanted to see what was done before he could possibly avoid issues that were already solved.

Awesome, Why not install the E-bike integrated with the lawn mower? Ask your friend take the video action and I want see it.

Well, we already have a couple of electric mowers. The idea of this one would be to use human power to mow the grass instead of using gas or electric. I think if we were going to go with the ebike mower, we might as well finish up the electric rider mower project that's waiting.

Man, I tried towing a reel mower I set up for cutting the same way a tractor pulls ganged reels... too flippin hard for me just pedalling. There is a good reason mowers are 5hp.

Yeah, like I said, I remember there being some issues. That's why I would really like to find the original build that was done here. Or at least talk to the person that did it. I think it was from way back before the system got purged.

I use an e-mower. Black and decker. Just like vacuuming, and in seven years I haven't hit the cord. There's a technique to keeping it
Out of the way. I hardly notice its there.

That said, an rc mower would be cool. Just sit in the shade with a joystick.

Yeah, I have an emower and don't have a problem with the cord. But if it is a really large yard, you will have to have a very thick cord for being that long. So that's why a cordless would be better for that situation.
