This is an interactive map that displays varying regions potential for wind, solar, biofuel, biodigesters, and geothermal - including existing and planned facilities. Toying with the map one can quickly see opportunity if we just applied ourselves... perhaps to this with all the gustso of War, instead of going to War, not that I'm a pacifist or anything... But just imagine if we spent one month of the DoD budget investing in renewable energy!

wow, my state (TX) is doing much better than I thought! Meanwhile, the "south" is taking baby steps I presume.

According to the map, where I am in NY neither solar or wind looks very enticing.... however... I'm now about 10 years off-grid and both solar and wind power are doing just fine!!

Florida calls itself the sunshine state, but it only has 2 PV plants and only 1 planned. One of those is at Kennedy space center, so I wonder how much of that is just for research for the space program.
