i was expecting a g-whizz when i saw the link said reva. they look pretty decent now. especially the lithium battery powered one. top speed of 80 mph is pretty good in my book, but to be moving at that speed in a car that small is a little iffy to me. ive been contemplating on getting an electric car and ditch the ICE powered one because all of my traveling is in the city.

From the link:
"A hood designed to maximize pedestrian safety on impact "

???? I've always instood that the big,ol' NA cars had high bonnets so peds would bounce off w/internal injuries, and now with the lower aero fronts their feet are knocked out from under them and they impact the windshields instead (head injuries)... So curious to hear exactly what design aspects they believe minimizes injury to peds... or cyclists...
I've never heard of ANY auto mfgr touting ped safety as a feature of their designs.

That might depend on the jurisdiction where you live? Local laws might require that your EV has a catalytic converter

Awhhh Crap.
I blame the Banks, for no imagination. Thousands "presold" aka deposits prepaid doesn't seem to impress. sigh
Most "auto" mfgrs would cry for this level of support

I have one of those

conversions are the only Electric cars available...

Or ... maybe just get a good motor and a pack of LIFEPO4 for my existing EV .. its registered and street legal

A 48 volt 400Ahr pack would cost ??

I think the White Zombie (quickest street legal EV) replaced its pack

Vehicle Price: Determined Based on Number of Pre-Production Reservations Received We designed a pricing structure for pre-orders to reward you, the buyer, with savings as you help develop the supply chain for American-made, highway-speed Electric Vehicles with an early EV purchase! We need 1,000 pre-orders to reach volume pricing to reach our goal price of $24,995 for the base model with a 60-mile range. We need to start the pricing at $29,995 until we can commit to that volume, but Myers Motors will drop the retail price for everyone by $1000 for every 200 pre-orders on the books until it reaches the $24,995 target price.

Seating: Two*

Base Model Range: 60 miles

Batteries: Lithium Ion

I guess I could buy the same amount of lithium batteries for my geo conversion ???

I wonder how much that would cost ???

Looks like Reva and Chevy have teamed up ....
