An owner for close to 5 years, my Limited has been fun to upgrade, but information RE: what works is often hard to get.
Upgraded, this bike's pretty amazing, but still has ingrained (short framed) geometric, controller (not so hot) and torque sensor (intermittent failure) issues.
Maintain and upgrading my bikes, I'll will show you mine if you show me yours?
Let's do this for other owners, keep an online database for solutions and feed our community.

Anyone with anecdotal evidence is my hero. Solutions, not problems. 'Lighter, stronger, faster' is my motto.
It's not very expensive to upgrade - unless one buys the wrong parts. For me the biggest expense was my own 'ignorance'.
My take's double the bike's price and will have a machine costing roughly $6,000.00, but even better. I did and my, my what a nice machine.
Other, more expensive brands cannot do that. You'll pay their price and still need to upgrade.
I know there're members more educated and knowledgeable than a newbie me. In advance, my gratitude for them taking the time to correct and make information clear.
Lets hear what you've done and how you did it.

Thanks,

Cool. I like the goal and the fact that you found a factory bike that works well for you and that you've been able to upgrade. That will provide some useful info in the future for folks with the same bike, and probably a little more confidence for others wanting to DIY upgrade their bikes.
One suggestion would be to have this thread moved to the ebike build threads subforum. The general forum has too much traffic and your thread may end up buried in a few days. In the builds subforum, there's less activity so your post will remain on the front page longer

My thanks for any advice.
My goal's to share information that works and what does not, not 'for me', but in general - at the limits and in between.
How to 'move this thread to a subforum' is beyond me.
Can you give me some direction?
