Hi! Can someone help me w this e-brake setup? I can’t seem to get it to work.

6000w hub motor
2 generic thumb throttles
After I ran the hall test, I had to change the motor direction to get the wheel to spin in the right direction. I toggled the e-brake mode to ebrake - throttle, and hit ok, > debug tab and hit “parameter save.” When I hit the throttle it works, when I hit the brake lever - nothing. When I go back to the function tab- it switches back to “no brakes.”
I also tried resetting the controller to default and got the same results. Not sure what else to do.
