Hello all I think I probably fried my controller but I just want to describe what happened to get some feedback.
So I had everything working very well as usual and then I needed to switch the throttle. Unfortunately, I had the throttle hard wired to the controller and already on the bike and so I decided to just cut the throttle wires closer to the handle bars to splice it there instead of detaching closer to the controller. This is on a rickshaw, so It was easier for me to access it by the handle bar... Anyway, I disconnected the 72 volt battery and waited about 1 minute and then cut the 5 wire cyclone throttle that has a voltage meter and got a small spark when there was obviously still current left in the system. After I rewired the throttle, I turned the key on and can see the voltage of the battery but the bike does not move. When I try to connect to the blue tooth, the usual blue tooth module does not show up. I am getting a continuous blinking red light that blinked 71 times in 46 seconds. There appears to be no pattern to the blinking. Anybody have any suggestions?
