SCAM ALERT.. domain registry of canada, SCAM....

I just got my daily mail, in a brown ( typical of gov type letters, official mail vs the normal white everyday letter ) marked " Domain Registry Of Canada droc.ca

Now, i own a few .ca domains, so i figured it had to do with that aspect, however, when i opened it up, turns out it's for my ypedal.com domain, :?

*smells like fish.. hits up google...

these dipshits are mailing random domain owners trying to get people to switch domain registrations to their company... they are a hosting company like any other, just with higher prices.... than say godaddy..

so,.. fyi to all others who may get this letter.. DON'T BUY INTO IT !!!!!!!!!.. IT'S A SCAM...

It bothers me that domain information is so public and easy to access. I want to say godaddy was advertising a service to include with the registry fee that would allow you to put the domain registry information as theirs. I don't know how that worked out or if it's even technically legal, but it'd sure save you from getting that silly letter : P.
