Wow thats pretty cool. Probably better off with a 24v/10ah ping pack for $270 shipped w charger, but it would be great if somebody also needed the outer shell.

How about four YardWorks packs? 40V 12AH (4 batteries) 5.80kg (12.8 lbs) $560 and warranteed.
You could probably buy two chargers with the Canadian Tire money . . . and a new controller with the shipping charges you saved.
Throw on a bigger chain ring, upgrade the brakes and go trolling for scooters.

ya i turned the forum onto the yardworks bats last year...
i am running again this year
ii mentioned the 24v because it seems like a pretty good case and fairly small
they are already rack mounted and would probably fit in panier bags nicely
some frame triangles will fit this as well
or run 2 for 48v...
