Hello all,

First of all sorry if I am writing about topic that already exist, but if does I can not find it...

I recently bought used Lofty Scooter 250W sticker on engine, 18'' wheels, 4 SLA bateries 12V 12Ah so 48V, controller has 18A phase 120 on sticker.
Its top speed is around 25km/h, and I found connector for cruise speed than it drops to about 10-15km/h.

What I wanted to know, is my scooter limited on 25km/h or it just can not go any faster? If can where is limitation, can it be bypassed?
Tried to use e-bike simulator, but not sure what should I use for engine.

Than you all in advance.

Quite often controllers will have a limiter in the form of a loop you can disconnect. Look at your controller and see if there is an obvious loop and disconnect it and see.

Found this picture....something like this:

Otherwise, the only way to go faster would be to add a battery to add voltage. I'm not sure your controller can handle the extra voltage, however, and with a 250w motor, you aren't going to get a heck of a lot more.

Thank you for your answer. As I said I have found connector for cruise mode, similar to one on the picture you have linked, and unplugged it...
