Scooter upgrades

I brought a used uberscoot 36v 500w scooter a while back. I have decided to upgrade. I’ve brought a 48v 2000w brushless motor, 48v 2000w brushless controller, 48v 6wire throttle with turbo button and a 48v 22.5ah lithium battery.

I can’t get it to work...

I’m not sure if it’s charging or holding charge? When it’s all connected and on charge I can turn the power on and the throttle indicator will light up, but won’t power the motor. As soon as I disconnect the charger the throttle indicator fades away.

I’ve tried the old battery and motor with the new controller and that works.

It seems the problem could be with the battery? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

Now with the hall sensor wires connected and the charger plugged in the motor works at the 2 speeds. But as soon as charger is disconnected there is no power?!

Sounds like hall sensor wire combination. If you just connect the wires from the controller to the ones in the motor by matching colors, that doesn't always work. You have to test all wire combos until you get forward spinning of the motor. Here's a pic of a spreadsheet I got from someone that I used to test my combos. There are 36 possible combinations.
