My Bafang middrive motor just arrived and I need help installing it. I don't have all the dumb special tools and resources required to take apart my bike and do other stuff. Are there any shops that'll do all the work for me? Lol

Not likely, sorry.
Call around and ask, but LBS are reluctant to deal with the liability that will come with its instillation.
The good news is you only need a crank removal tool and a BB tool. Both are cheap and the LBS may rent them to you.
Lots of info on install, looks about as easy as DIY gets.

Maybe you can seek out a local'ish member that can help.

What are all the specials tools and equipment I will need

Watch the vid, they show all you need.
The two specialty tools would be the crank removal tool and the bottom bracket wrench. Both can be had cheap.
Then an adjustable wrench, screwdrivers, etc.

I have a Trek Verve 3 bicycle and am trying to fit this Bafang middrive motor into the bottom bracket sleeve but it won't go all the way. What do I do?

Perhaps there is something in the bottom bracket, like a sharp edge where they cut the threads etc.

Might have something to do with the bottom of the bike..... Think these wire holder thingies are in the way....do these need to be removed or what should I do?

Already did that as a first step.....might be the underside of the bottom bracket.....there are wire holder thingies that is blocking the middrive from going all the way in....do I take those out? See the pic....

When I installed mine on a BD bike, I had to spend about 30 minutes with a half round file to remove aluminum from the inside of the shell. I think during welding the center of the shell sagged a bit (best I could tell). This prevented the bafang from sliding through. Some careful file work solved the issue.

i don't follow them. it really is best to just teach yourself and be patient because when you get stuck with some problem on the side of the road it is so valuable to be really familiar with ever detail of your build.

How do I mount the battery to the triangle frame? I only see two screw thingies atbthe bottom

Assuming you're using a "water bottle" type battery & holder, I had good results using washers to get a nice tight fit to the bike frame. Some battery holders even have slots where you can further tighten (or rather make steal proof) using zip ties or hose clamps.

Is the battery holder built into the battery? Can I remove it? But that is the kind of battery I have now
