Hello
I’m looking for a 58.8V (14S li-ion) charger in the 10-15A range, compact (1kg max) and as silent as possible. Does it exist ?

It's significantly heavier than you're after, but it's completely silent, fanless (doesn't need one), weatherproof, and mountable directly to your bike:

Meanwell HLG-600H-54A, LED PSU.

I'm using one for a 14s pack to 57.8v, 12A charging rate, mounted on SB Cruiser so I can just plug right in and charge anywhere there's 115VAC. (don't usually need to, but it's come in handy a few times).

If you ever needed more current, you can parallel multiple units. Need more voltage, series them.

There are smaller versions, like the 150H or 300H, but they have proportionally lower current output.

TDK SWS1000L-60 adjusts from 48V to 66

Picked up a bunch for $60 off eBay.

Also Phoenix Contact 48V, goes from 10-20A, sometimes come up cheap, but 56V may be the upper limit

As tiny as that fan would be, to be silent it'd probably have to be such a low-volume air movement that it wouldn't keep the unit as cool at high loads. (possibly not cool enough)

But you could cut a larger hole in the largest surface of the charger, for a much larger fan, and moutn the fan externally. THe larger the fan, the greater volume of air for the same noise level; there's more blade for less turbulence (noise). Different shape and angle blades move different amounts of air. YOu could experiment with different speeds of teh same fan to balance noise with cooling.

As for the charger itself, I don't know anything about that "brand", but at 55mm x 106mm x 170mm not much smaller than the fanless meanwell, which is 280mm x 144mm x 48.5mm, and the meanwell is cheaper.

(mouser is missing a zero on the long dimension; the correct dimensions are here:
https://www.meanwell-web.com/en-gb/ac-dc-single-output-led-driver-mix-mode-cv-cc-with-hlg--600h--54a )
The meanwell only does a bit more than half the current, but it's still in the middle of the current range the thread title asks for.

EDIT; the aliexpress link you give actually has different dimensions in teh details than at the top of the page:
20cm x 10cm x 10cm (7.87in x 3.94in x 3.94in) and a different weight than it gives higher up. So I'm not sure that you could trust *any* of the info on that page, as you can't know which is correct until you get the item and test it/verify info. It also doesn't specify it's input voltage; presumably it's 115VAC or thereabouts, might be switchable to 220v, might not.

The meanwell automatically does something like 90VAC to 230VAC IIRC.

you're right, I've sent an email to the vendor in order to have explanations about all these wrong information...
Too bad because such a compact charger able to deliver 20A is exacly what I was looking for, except for the noise.
I take due note of your advice, and will go for the fanless meanweel if the answer of the vendor doesn't convince me.

I would only buy recommended products from Ali vendors that many members report good experiences.

Not just wasted money, but shipping times and general hassle factors.

Just received the answer from the vendor, I think you’re right, and I will buy something else :/
Thanks everybody for your advices !

« the weight of this 58.8V-15/20A charger is 1.2kg, and its dimensiosn 170x106x55mm ?===========No . I think it's wrong description.

Because on the same page just below there are other dimensions specified : 280x136x85mm. =========this is the 1200w charger size , and weight 2.5kg .

if you care about weight , check this about 1.7kg .
Dismensions : 80*110*215mm,

you can place an order, Not make payment,
then wait for I reduce the price. to 180 USD.
later you can make payment. OK?«

Here is the chargers I have now, I’m happy with them (4 and a 3A), their output voltage is exactly the same (58.9V). So I think there is no pb to plug them in parallel ?
I was thinking about ordering another and pluging the 3 in parallel, in order to have 11A.

With the plugs the package will be around 2kg. The Meanwell is 4kg.

they can parallel fine

frequently do similar

minor nit picking

any open connection

may reduce charge current
