Simple Brush Motor Controller (with e-abs)

I need an e-bike/scooter motor controller that has an electric brake (regen a plus).

HOWEVER, it is for a BRUSH motor, not a brushless, and has a simple 3-wire (5-wire ok) 5kohm twist grip throttle, and identical 5kohm twist grip brake as inputs.

Attached is the wiring diagram I desire.

Does anyone know where I can get one (cheap preferably because of simplicity and minimal features), or know how I can accomplish this using off-the-shelf components?

Thank you in advance,
Geoff

One of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/24V-350W-brushed-speed-controller-e-bike-scooter_W0QQitemZ300270992458QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item45e98bbc4a from Keywin should be OK

You'd need to switch the connectors around to match whatever you have, but it's pretty easy to do. You may need to play about to get the throttle to work well over it's full range, or you could just opt to use a throttle from Keywin, too (see here, for example: http://cgi.ebay.com/Electric-Bike-scooter-parts-throttle-accelerator_W0QQitemZ260480259844QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3ca5d55704)

Hope this helps.

The Curtis 1505 controller automatically brakes whenever the throttle is rolled off. It is rated 20A continuous, 80A peak.

These controllers were very common and cheap after the spectacular failure of Malcolm Bricklin's EV Warrior.
