measure the gate voltage on the charging mosfet.

use the 20V DC scale.

put the black probe on the B- spot, and put the red probe on the left leg of the charging mosfet. next to C-.

is this what you are talking about?

Yes that is the mosfet, but i'm not sure which leg is the correct one.

seems like it woulda been easier just to measure it. usually it is around 5.75V. when on.

Thats my diagram. I made it to understand the actual wiring since signal labs diagram sucked. My SL bms died after 3 weeks. I gave up on the whole bms thing, just too complicated, takes to long to balance (2 days+ first time), to many unanswered questions and a total lack of documentation.
