Smart Pie 4 Fault

Guys,

I have a smart pie 4 which seems to be correctly connected to the battery. The problem is that the console doesn't light-up and the wheel doesn't turn. When everything is disconnected the battery is putting out 53.5v but as soon as it's connected the voltage drops to 5.2v.

Any ideas on what the problem is and how it can be fixed.

I've connected a different battery and everything works just fine so I'm now thinking that the fault lies within the battery. Any ideas on what the problem might be?
