Up for sale is my RH212 in a 24" wheel with a pair of V7 torque arms.
Fast winding, does about 31mph on 52v.
Rim is wide, measures 30.78mm internally, will easily take a 2.4" tire or larger.

Accepts a 8 speed cassette and fits in a 135mm dropout.
Power output is between a 30mm stator and 35mm stator.

5 miles on the motor, marks on the axle from torque arm installation and tire installation. Perfect otherwise.
Comes in the original box/packaging.

Why am i selling it? i don't like it's weight and it's a lot more powerful than i need. I like my Grin All Axle better.

Ships via bikeflights ( fedex ) from Utah, USA. Shipping cost in the lower 48 states of the USA should be reasonable ( est $50 ); won't ship to another country.

Retail cost before shipping/tax is $420 on this. So you're paying half of retail.

If you want a 24 x 2.0" Kenda Drumlin Cargo tire ( very puncture resistant yet great rolling resistance ) with 5 miles on it, add $25 ( retail cost on that is >$50 ) and i'll include it in the box.

Wow! That’s a great deal. You’re going to sell it fast at that price. I’ve been looking at this motor (for a while) to replace my Shengyi geared hub. I just can not justify the purchase because my bike runs “just fine” and this would be a greedy need. I’m interested in having regen, since my commute has many hills. Probably make the move if I ever burn up my motor, but that’ll be no time soon. I might be able to move my Shengyi to a bike conversion though, hhmmm.

Thanks pardner!

How's that shengyi treating you? i've been interested in getting one of those for a while now.

Its been solid. Thanks.

Through the Baserunner, I pull 25 battery amps and 55 phase amps. I haven’t installed the temp sensor yet, but that may happen when I’m not riding during winter. The Shengyi DWG22 seems to be a fairly common DTC hub motor. I did try a ride at 30 amps, but that really sagged the battery. About 5 volts.

I came across a thermal imaging camera. I check my motor after a ride. I haven’t seen the temp higher than 100*F. I just tried (10A) field weakening and it’s pretty nice. I’m going to make the ride to work and check heat again. I keep a computer at work, so I can make adjustments after a ride as needed.

FunFact: that RH212 is 6 lbs heavier than my motor.

Wow, the motor seems under-rated like i suspected. Thanks so much for the information. I think i'll pick one up for the girlfriend bike. Hopefully the cash from this one pays for the next one :)

I purchased a Dillenger DIY kit (36V, 350w) about 10 years ago which had a Shengyi geared motor and it's still operating perfectly after many hard years as an errand and off road bike, now on a cruiser which my daughter has ridden at Burning Man for the past three years. She also had a blast on it riding the Strip in LV during early COVID when everything was shut down.

Updated my offer, torquearms removed, now $250 + shipping for the wheel.

Front? Rear? Threaded? Cassette? Spacing?

I like it, but I don't understand quite what it is.

Updated description.

Link to the vendor's detail; note that power is understated.
