Any North American source(s) for BMS boards?
36v 10s8p li-ion 18650.
Thanks

What sort of working current do you need? I generally buy BMS from eBay sellers. Nothing great but good enough and some protections if it arrives DOA.

Something like this - http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMS-PCB-Board-Protection-For-10-Packs-36V-Li-Ion-Battery-Cell-With-Balance-DG-/262058691774?hash=item3d03ea4cbe:g:eHkAAOSwEetV~3ht

Search that category for others...

Yes, I have a couple 30 amp on order from China through e bay but delivery is so long.
Was hoping there is a sales outlet somewhere in NA so delivery is quicker.
Thanks!

Hey huggy2, I finally found this USA supplier that has a good supply of different sized BMS/PCM boards & at very fair prices.
I first found a continuous 30A unit; then asked them if they offered a 50A cont. / 100A burst.
They had it for $89 including shipping and I got less than a week later. It is excellent! and has a huge heat-sink on the bottom.
(The 30A I first found is $59 and is 5" long x 2.5" wide.)
Here's the link:

$10 from China or $59 in the states. It's quite a jump isn't it. Though still $100 less than the euro offering. That's a really big spread of prices for something so mundane.

A well designed BMS is far from mundane and designing one is a true multidisciplinary effort.
