So I connected a 5000Ah 3s LiPo to a 120A Hobbyking Car ESC, and it made a big spark. I melted all of the bullet connectors. What could the issue be?

My soldering may have been iffy. I didn't remove the solder(tinning, whatever it's called) that it comes with from the factory. I just stuck the ends in the bullet connectors and soldered. Would that be the cause?

I am so close to finishing this board, and now this. :(

Thanks for the help!

There always going to be a spark if you dont use an anti spark system. Look at the XT-90s connector and you will be fine :) you only need one when you are closing the circuit

I figured it out. Dumbass me connected negative and positive backwards. I'm lucky that nothing is ruined.
