I'm sure many people will be very happy to buy an expensive bike completely sight unseen from a brand new one-post member. 
You might consider taking some pictures of it, perhaps showing your purchase receipt and date in the image with it (because we do get thieves with stolen stuff posting here now and then).
Also, most individuals don't sell something "brand new" unless they have a reason...(often because something is wrong with it). Usually they use it and find out they don't like it, or wear something out, etc. (then it isn't brand new anymore)
