Here is my latest build. 04’ Specialized Demo 9 frame, 27.5” wheelset, Manitou Dorado Expert, restomod build, running at 6kw, managed 45 mph at the moment, limited by gearing, looking for a happy medium for street and mountain. It rips!!! Kit is a Tangent Ascent Gent 2 1:20 gearing with an Astroflight 3220 with active water cooling, max temp atm is 80°C. Running at 48v with 130amps. Next step is to make some battery cases to attach to the frame which is a wip.

Bike looks mean and sure does rip! How does the active watercooling work do you have a res in the backpack full of ice water or something? Very cool though!

Thanks! Coolant goes through a pc cooling block, no much capacity but works in heat dissipation. Probably in the future add a bigger reservoir.

Nice I didn't see the cooling block back when I made the commend and I think I confused the battery wires with coolant tubes. Looks like the little water cooling setup is working well if its under 80c, considering the motor looks to be rated up to 200c + according to Astroflight's site. It's a shame you can't run higher voltages with that setup, I bet on 72v it would be insane. That much suspension travel with that much power in a mid drive must be very fun to ride though!
