Specialized Diverge E5 EVO - would it fit an bbshd?

I've narrowed down a frame that would possibly result in a good chainline with a bsshd and a 42T.
However I have no idea if the bsshd would actually fit given there is a cable routing channel ending near the bottom bracket - anybody with experience with the bsshds, can you please confirm if this would be an issue?

Pics of bottom bracket vicinity from an article I found about it - BB itself is BSA 68mm so should be compatible - I am just worried about physically fitting the BBSHD:

Frameset itself is very expensive in europe unfortunately, over 2k usd while the whole bike around 3k but the cheapest alternatives are around 1500 so would be lovely to figure out if it's at least a safe option in terms of BBSHD fitment.

That’s an expensive aluminum frame. It looks nice with the cable routing. Why not just get a cheap heavy steel or aluminum frame and it will be heavy regardless. I’d like that bike as a regular bike though! I like the slopping top tube n chainstay cast part.

I will probably not get this due to the price but trying to figure out a safe option if I can't do it cheaper.

Currently got some of these brain-waves oscillating:
1. Ideally I would love some type of mtb frame and steel even better rather than alu gravel but anybody I call or wherever I look I can't find a mtb frame that is the rugged contemporary through axle 148mm boost at the rear where it can also fit a 42T (or even 40T) chainring.
2. There are very few framesets available in chrome-molybdenum steel or some other stainless variety overall - seems everybody wants to own them but nobody wants to stock them unless for the kind of prices where one might as well order a bespoke frame.
3. If I build the bike myself for what I would spec (nothing crazy - cheap 9sp casette but decent brakes and decent aluminimum wheels) it's still around 1300 in bolt-on parts alone, ie. without the frameset/fork and before motor and battery.
4. I found an aluminium frameset that costs ~500 with a regular carbon fork so would likely get that instead of this fancy specialised one but either way I slice it, it gets expensive fast.

Realistically whatever I do I'm running into having to pay ~3k for hybrid-gravel or ~4k for mtb type build for parts.
Would love to do a noname min/max build but all the resources available are very US or UK centric and I'm stuck on mainland europe with expensive french bikes :(

I thought the whole world was filled with unwanted used bikes after Covid.
That is the narrative reviewers and influencers seem to present but I have no idea where all these great deals are supposed to be hiding in case of central europe.
Can get an horribly overpriced msrp 6k electric bike for 4k from a reseller - there are plenty of those.
Can also get a good full suspension bike that used to cost 3k for 1.5k from a private listing but there will be say 1 properly interesting offer like that and on the other side of the country so have to buy without checking it out in person.

To find something like a Ritchey Ascent here seems implausible, brand new frameset meanwhile costs 1400 *eur* after tax let alone dollars :(

Craigslist is specifically a NA thing afaik.
There are many similar sites instead though and people do list bikes on them - just would not really describe it as a glut of great deals. At least not for anything relevant to what I'm trying to build.
