Greetings, I had a SA X-RD5, 5-spd IGH w/drum brake, laced into a rear wheel. The thought was, to use this in a mid-drive eBike project. The hub's brake arm (that must be clamped to the chain stay), is currently oriented in a certain way relative to the axle flats, such that it only works for horizontal dropouts. For my frame with vertical dropouts, the brake arm points almost straight down. My question: Is it possible to rotate the left side hub face relative to the axle to make the brake arm point the way I need it to, in order to clamp it to the chain stay? Otherwise, I'm either going to need another wheel made or else find another frame. I hope I didn't just make a costly mistake.
Thanks in advance for any help/clarification.
