I have this 2003 Suzuki King Quad 300 ATV, the engine does not start so i thought it might be a good project for conversion. I have LEM motor which is 10kW i believe. I alco have Navitas TMP400 controller. Just need a decent size battery. Would it be sufficient? I am not going for speed, 50kph is plenty. Basically for work around the yard.
I would also like to retain gearbox and all diff lock goodies... but i have no idea what the rpm going to gearbox is and i cannot find it anywhere. Anyone with some knowledge would be appreciated to chime in.
Photo is of the model, not the actual machine, mine is green

Unless you've got some mountains in your yard, I can't imagine needing anything like the power that motor could handle. I don't know what power the controller is capable of.

Regarding RPM for gearbox input--you can probably find out the general RPM of an ICE engine of the size and type that's used in that ATV, even if not that of the actual engine there. That would at least give a ballpark.

But you can also reverse calculate it, by turning the drive wheels manually and counting their RPM vs that of the input to the gearbox.
