Hey All,

I am trying to build a torque sensing system onto our family long tail. I am looking to use a rear hub motor (likely a Chrystalite) a half twist throttle and either the Thun or TDCM attached to a V3 Cycle Analyst. I searched around for information comparing these two. Looks like the Thun is a bit more expensive, but I have also read that the TDCM BB has some 'play' in it that sound annoying to me. Additionally, I have seen it noted that the Thun only reads input from the left crank (are there issues with this or is that just the way it is?).

Any first hand info that could be shared would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thun is very accurate, TDCM is OK.

I have the Thun and really like it.
