the NEW 2009 PHET LiFePO4 battery

Tonight I just came back from our 2009 car show at Quebec and I discussed with many Electric car prototype builder and battery supplier that showed demo of their battery.

The ZEN, and many Quebec made electric car was showed and also i saw the famous new honda insight that have a better look than the prius and the old insight!!

That was really interesting!.. One guy here have started a new compagny that build electric car from used 2005-2006 Mazda3. I discussed with him anout battery solution and we should do business together I think..


Also.. I saw from my ownm eyes the new developped PHET battery with 80 x 18650 1500mAh LiFePO4 cells they make. EVERY CELLS HAD AN EXTERNAL FUSE !!!!! the pack is rated 120Ah at 3.2V nominal

the box is similar to a normal prismatic cell like thundersky.. but it is made of many individual parallel cells .. thay is better because the temp dissipation is alot better.

OH and i forgot... IMPORTANT NEWS !!! The Dr Besner fro IREQ mentionned that THE NEXT GEN OF TESLA ROADSTER WILL USE THE C-LiFePO4 cells built by Pihsiang.!!!!

C'est plutôt une bonne surprise que nous a reservé le stand Microcar (Hall 3 Allée A stand 103) avec la présentation de la nouvelle Microcar M.Go 100% électrique dont la commercialisation est prévue pour le printemps 2009. Hum... Zenn is aiming to use LiFePO4 now? That's funny, since I thought they were one of the main partners of EESTOR, the ultra capacitor company that there's been so much talk about... for a few years now. Maybe Zenn is even getting doubtfull after so many delays by EESTOR?

I would say more people speak english. Tyhe only french province is Quebec with 7 to 8 milions people and canada have 30.

But the canadien people that are english also speak french but this is less usuall than french people speaking english.

You know what?? I think that 50% of my english learning come from here! .. so you guys must not speak too slang!! :lol:

Hier j'ai parlé aux deux representantes des ventes de Zenn Motor et Je suis certain que Zenn ça reste Zenn.

Aussi leur future batterie , La Esstor arrivera a grand pas.. avec aussi une berline!
