I know I had a thread with tire sealants 2025 in it somewhere but I couldn't find it so anyway here's a new thread. I've been riding one of my Segway e-scooters for over 4,000 kilometers with zero flats. The tires come with a gel layer from the factory. This stuff is absolutely incredible. On one of the Segway promotional videos I saw somewhere, you can see what it looks like. It appears like a translucent yellowish stuff, and it is definitely not a liquid. Unfortunately, it looks like something that isn't available for aftermarket use. It seems that it needs to be applied in a special way. ChatGPT says this:"
It simply blows away the other solutions and the clincher is that even after three years you could drive nails into the tire and it won't make a goddamn bit of difference! The commercial slop that they sell in bottles (Stans,Slime el al) usually degrades after one year.
So now we have to figure out how we can concoct something at least similar that could be applied to the inner part of a bike tire or any tire for that matter. I haven't tried searching for any people trying to do this yet, but maybe it's possible. I sure hope so.
