So... it has become very apparent that I need to get some torque plates sorted out... mainly due to an incident that occurred whilst attempting to pull away from traffic light, whereby my rear wheel popped out of the dropouts, both sides at ones, leaving the wheel hanging on by the torque arm).

I'm wondering what sort of material I should be using, what sort of place I should be going to in order to get them fabricated, and what sort of price I should be expecting to pay for a pair. Any ideas?

Thanks,
G

Doc Bass £25 I think, they are awesome, or make them yourself with an angle grinder and build some with clamping style. use the google search check box and do a search for torque arms there sooo many thread on here for DIY ones.

If you have a torque arm installed on each side (Like the ones from Grin) properly installed it should be near impossible for a repeat. Please try to give us a picture of the carnage so we can learn from it!
